2 more arrested in connection with violent protest in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Police are making more arrests in connection with the violent protest in downtown Rochester.

Stephen Fioco, 29, and Richard Yaniack, 37, are both charged with rioting. Police say the two took part in destroying marked and unmarked patrol cars on May 30.

Investigators say Fioco also burned down a construction trailer and broke into an office building.

Fioco was arraigned Wednesday and was released.

Yaniack is expected to be arraigned Thursday morning.
