2 Rochester homes hit by gunfire

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Two Rochester homes were struck by gunfire Monday night, fortunately no one was injured.

The first incident happened around 7:15 p.m. on Wabash Street. Police found evidence of several shots being fired in the area and determined a house had been struck. Neither the three adults nor three children were struck.

Later Monday, around 9 p.m., RPD responded to the 400 block of Melville Street for a report of gunshots. Once again, evidence was found indicating several shots had been fired and an occupied house had been hit several times. Five adults were inside. No one was injured.
