Amazon holds job fair in Rochester

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The retail giant held the event at the RochesterWorks! Career Center on Friday, Dec. 3 morning.
Amazon is actively seeking for people to work at its new warehouse that is being built in Gates. The purpose of the fair was to inform people of openings and how to apply. The warehouse is set to be completed in 2022 and will provide at least 1,000 jobs.
Construction trade company Eastern Millwright Regional Council was also at the job fair.
Next week, there will be another job fair at RochesterWorks!
