ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — An assistant district attorney with the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office resigned Tuesday after making a controversial post on social media.
Dan Strollo resigned after posting about the death of George Floyd on his personal Instagram page.
“The Monroe County District Attorney’s Office was made aware of the social media post by an employee," officials with the district attorney's office said in a statement Tuesday. "Mr. Strollo has resigned from his position at the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office."
