ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — In recognition of Black History Month, ballerina Aesha Ash held a giveaway for Black nurses in the Rochester community.

The self-care donations were made possible by FRÉ Skincare in partnership with the Swan Dreams Project and the Beta Chi Chi Sorority.

Sen. Jeremy Cooney (D, 56) also handed out a framed proclamation from the State Senate to the president of the Rochester Black Nurses Association for their hard work during the pandemic.
