ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – The Buffalo Bills were honored by Monroe County Sunday morning. The NFL team returned to their training camp at St. John Fisher University following the annual red and blue scrimmage at their stadium in Buffalo.

The proclamation awarded by County Executive Adam Bello thanks the Bills for their commitment to Monroe County for the past 20 years.

"It’s an honor to have them here, it really is. And to give us an opportunity to show off how great Rochester is, how great Monroe County is. We’re all one big region though right? We’re all Bills fans here in Rochester. It really is an honor for them to come down the thruway and spend time with us here and get to know their fan base here in Rochester too. They’ve been doing it for years and we’re really excited and happy that St. John Fisher University has continued that partnership as well,” said County Executive Adam Bello.
