ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Community leaders are hoping to "light" the way to safer roads this Christmas.

They rolled through Rochester in the "Lights on for Life" motorcade Saturday morning to honor National Impaired Driving Prevention Month this December.

First responders, police and anyone who wanted to join drove down South Plymouth Avenue to bring attention to the dangers of impaired driving in the city. The event was held by Monroe County STOP-DWI Program and Rochester Against Impaired Driving (RAID).
