COVID-19 vaccine clinics scheduled for this weekend

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — There are several COVID-19 vaccine clinics scheduled for this weekend.

On Saturday, a clinic offering the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, including booster doses (click here to see if you’re eligible), to people 18 and older is being held at Geneva Community Health at 601 W. Washington St. from 9 a.m. to noon. Click here to schedule an appointment.

For children ages 5-11, the MCC Downtown Campus at the corner of 321 State St. and Morrie Silver Way is holding a vaccine clinic that is only for residents of ZIP codes 14613, 14611, 14608, 14621, 14605, 14619, 14606, 14609, 14615, 14604, 14614, 14607, 14620, and 14610. As part of the state’s #VaxToSchool program, The Vineyard Farm and Outdoor Center for Excellence at 126 Sander St. will hold a vaccine clinic for people 12 and older on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Pfizer vaccine and the Johnson & Johnson vaccine will be given out.

On Sunday, the Edgerton R-Center at 41 Backus St. in Rochester is offering pediatric doses of the Pfizer for children 5 to 11 only to residents of the ZIP codes above. A parent or guardian with ID must accompany their kids. Click here to schedule an appointment.

That same clinic is also offering the Johnson & Johnson vaccine to those 18 and older and the Pfizer vaccine to those 12 and older. Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome.
