4 injured in crash on Mt. Read Blvd

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Four people are injured after a two-car crash at the intersection of Emerson Street and Mt. Read Boulevard.

It happened just before 6 p.m. on Thursday.

Police say a 38-year-old woman was driving an SUV on Mt. Read Boulevard when she struck a sedan, and the SUV rolled over onto the driver's side.

The driver and a 36-year-old man who was a passenger in the SUV, both Monroe County residents, were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with what police say are minor injuries.

A 21-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man, both Rochester residents, were in the sedan. They were also taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with what police say are minor injuries.

News10NBC's crew at the scene reported seeing firefighters extracting a woman from one of the vehicles.

Both vehicles were towed.
