Deputies: Homeowners displaced after fire at Perinton home

PERINTON N.Y. (WHEC) — Deputies say people living in a Perinton home were not hurt, but are without a home after fire damaged it Monday morning,

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office says multiple crews from several departments went to a home on Kingsley Circle shortly before 1:30 a.m. According to the Egypt Fire Department, the fire started in the basement and spread to the first and second floors.

The homeowners were able to get out safely, and while they were displaced, deputies say they have relocation plans.

No cause has been announced.
