ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Firefighters are investigating after a fire in an empty home on Rochester’s northeast side.

The Battalion Chief says the call first came in at around 7:35 p.m. as a structure fire with a person inside, but firefighters didn’t find anyone when they entered the Moulson Street home.

The fire was contained to the living room on the first floor, but there was some heat and smoke damage on the rest of the first floor and the second floor.

RG&E cut the power to the home.

No injuries were reported.
