ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Former lobbyist Robert Scott Gaddy pleaded guilty to the theft of government money in connection to the bribery case involving former State Assemblyman Joe Errigo.
Gaddy and Errigo were indicted last year.
Prosecutors say they took more than $10,000 to introduce a bill in the Assembly.
The legislation would've allowed the state to veto local zoning changes, but it never passed.
Gaddy faces a maximum sentence of one year in prison and a $100,000 fine.
