BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WHEC) — An increasingly successful fiber optic internet company is growing into Brighton.

GoNetspeed moved from Henrietta to the offices in Brighton that are twice the size of what they had.

The five-year-old company has 40 employees in Rochester right now.

It’s in a position to double its size in the next couple of years and the company is part of a bigger network in the northeast.

"Looking for help in Connecticut, PA, Maine, Future Fibers is a large company but really a lot of the bulk engineering and heavy lifting goes on here at headquarters in Rochester," said COO Thomas Perrone.
Thursday was the company’s ribbon-cutting.

GoNetspeed says it’s ready to support the community with next-generation technology for years to come.
