ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — There is a mysterious good Samaritan in downtown Rochester.

Someone recently tied bags of winter coats to a tree on Fitzhugh Street next to the Monroe County Office Building.

The signs on the bags read: "Help yourself: woman's medium coat."

We first heard about this earlier this week on Twitter from CITY Newspaper.

Someone already took one jacket, a women's large. But there's still one left — a women's medium.

What a unique act of charity in the dead of winter.
