GREECE, N.Y. (WHEC) — An outdoor yoga class to support some local firefighters was held Monday morning outside Breathe Yoga Studio on Long Pond Road in Greece.

Firefighters arrived in their trucks to take part in the class.

There were also bagpipes and Irish dancing.

The studio donated $2,000 in proceeds from the event to the fire department, because the owners say the fire department has been there for them from day one.

"When we first opened we had a flood,” Lori Rowe, co-owner of Breathe Yoga said. “We had water all over the studio, and they came and helped us take care of it and they were just so supportive. They've just been great in terms of any support we've needed."

The money will be used for community outreach programs.
