ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The nurses at Highland Hospital were once again recognized as some of the best in the country.

Highland has achieved Magnet status through the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition Program®.

That honor is reserved for hospitals that provide some of the highest quality nursing care and professionalism.

Highland first got the designation back in 2011. This is the third time it’s achieved Magnet status.

Highland says hospitals with Magnet recognition provide higher patient satisfaction with nurse communication and higher job satisfaction among nurses.
