ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A charity that takes local veterans on the trip of a lifetime is set to take off again.
Honor Flight Rochester is set to resume in the fall.
The organization flies veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the different war memorials, all for free.
Trips have been grounded since last year due to the pandemic.
Honor Flight's first mission since then is set for the weekend of Sept. 11.
The group says it's planning additional trips in the fall.
