Husband of Rochester mayor appears in federal court, attorneys talk 200+ days of evidence

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — We get a lot of emails asking "What’s going on with the cases against Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren and her husband, Tim Granison." We can tell you Granison was in federal court Thursday morning.
Granison’s lawyers talked about the massive amount of evidence in the case — roughly 210 days of video surveillance and wiretap recordings.
Attorneys also said they will talk about a plea deal at Granison’s next court appearance. About 80 percent of cases in federal court end in pleas. The home of Granison and Warren was raided in May. He’s accused of playing a role in a medium-size drug trafficking ring. The mayor is facing gun and child endangerment charges stemming from the discovery of guns in the home.

Both have pleaded not guilty.
A judge previously denied a motion to dismiss charges against Granison. His next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 9.
The mayor’s trial on campaign finance felonies starts in October. The trial for the gun charge isn’t until next year.
