IRONDEQUOIT, N.Y. (WHEC) — Town of Irondequoit Supervisor Dave Seeley will not seek reelection in 2021.
In both a written and video statement posted to social media Tuesday morning, Seeley said he came to the decision "after much thought and discussion" with his family.
"I hope to further my career in a role that helps advance the public good, for both Irondequoit and the broader community," Seeley said.
It is with a heavy heart that I announce today I am not seeking re-election as @irondequoit_NY Supervisor.
