ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — There are calls for an independent investigation into harassment claims against a Monroe County Legislator.

Lakaya Sinclair accused Ernest Flagler-Mitchell of sending her an explicit picture.

Flagler-Mitchell says the picture was intended for his wife and was sent by mistake.

County Legislature Member Sabrina LaMar is now calling on president Joe Carbone to launch an independent investigation into the case.

Last week, the Democratic Caucus sent a letter to Carbone calling on him to operate with transparency and integrity.
