Longtime Chili Firefighter passes

CHILI, N.Y. (WHEC) – The Chili Fire Department mourns the loss of long-time Company 3 member John Donovan after a courageous battle with cancer.

John served as a firefighter in Chili for 30 years and previously held the rank of Lieutenant of the company, passing on his knowledge and experience to our members to better serve the community.

John will be remembered for his dedication to his family and the department, one of his largest contributions was introducing both of his children to the Fire Department and both are still active members today.
