Loretta Scott subpoenaed in investigation into death of Daniel Prude

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Another subpoena has been issued in the investigation into the death of Daniel Prude.

Rochester City Council, acting through an independent investigator it hired, issued a subpoena to its own president, Loretta Scott.

The independent investigator is seeking evidence and witness testimony to determine whether there was an attempt by any city official or employee to suppress the truth about the circumstances of Prude’s death.

Scott is called to testify over a video conference on Nov. 19.

The mayor and police chief were previously subpoenaed.
