Man charged with DWI involved in a rollover accident

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A 22-year-old man from Rochester will be charged with a DWI after Rochester police learned he struck a parked car, which caused his car to roll over.

According to Rochester police at approximately 8:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of North Goodman and Peck Street for the report of a motor vehicle accident involving two cars.

Upon arrival, officers located the two vehicles involved in the accident. However, after further investigation, authorities learned there was only one car that was being operated by the 22-year old. The driver’s car rolled over. The city resident, whose identity is not being released at this time, was under the influence of alcohol, according to police.
