Man injured in shooting on Boardman Street near Monroe Avenue

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man is hurt but expected to survive after a shooting on Boardman Street near Monroe Avenue Monday.
Police say they received a report that a man had been shot just before noon and found a 28-year-old with a gunshot wound when they arrived on scene.
He was taken to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Police say they have no suspects in custody and are asking anyone with any information to call 911.
