GREECE, N.Y. (WHEC) — A man in a surgical mask pulled a gun on a Greece woman at her home on Black Walnut Avenue on Sunday.
The Greece Police Department says that a man came to the door of a home on Black Walnut Drive around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday and asked the 60-year-old resident that he was having car trouble and was wondering if he could come in to make a call. When the woman hesitated, the man produced a black handgun and pushed her.
The woman was able to run past the man and escape, but hurt her shoulder in the process. She was later hospitalized as a precaution with injuries that are not life-threatening.
The suspect, who is not believed to have stolen anything from the home, made his escape in a car. Police describe him as possibly being in his 30s, standing 5'10'' with dark hair. The man was wearing a surgical mask during the incident and was carrying a black handgun at the time.
No arrests have been made, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Greece Police Department.
