PITTSFORD, N.Y. (WHEC) — Three suspects were arrested and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a fourth after deputies responded to a burglary in process in Pittsford.

It happened Saturday at around 3:40 a.m. after the homeowner woke up to the sound of breaking glass and called 911, reporting a strange man was in their home with a flashlight.

Deputies arrived on the scene and immediately took two suspects into custody in the garage, and saw two suspects running to the back of the house.

Deputies followed and took the third suspect into custody after he allegedly jumped from an upstairs window, injuring himself.

Deputies say a fourth suspect escaped through the back yard.

The homeowner was not injured according to deputies.

Paul Sylve, 43, Patience Jones, 26, and Jalen Morris, 27, are all charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree criminal mischief and petit larceny.

All three were remanded to the Monroe County Jail per a Town of Pittsford judge. Deputies say they had outstanding warrants for other charges when they were arrested.

A search warrant was conducted on the suspects’ vehicle and deputies say they uncovered stolen property from other burglaries in the area. They say additional charges are expected.

Deputies are still trying to find the fourth suspect.
