Milling, paving to affect traffic on Beach, Lake and Dewey Avenues

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – Road work is underway on a series of milling and paving operations in Rochester.

The work is being done on Beach Avenue, from West City Line to Lake Avenue, Dewey Avenue, from Eastman Avenue to North City Line, and Lake Avenue, from Pattonwood Drive to Beach Avenue.

The two-way traffic will be maintained but there will be delays.

Additionally, on-street parking, as well as access to driveways and private walks, will be restricted at certain times.

If you are parked on the street, your vehicle may be towed to allow the work to continue. If your car is towed, please call 911 for its location.

This project is expected to be completed by November.

Detour signs will be posted.
