UPDATE — The Monroe County Sheriff's Office report that the missing Brockport teen who was reported missing on Feb. 21 has been found safe.
MCSO is pleased to announce Hannah McAvoy, 17, missing from Sweden 2/21/20, has been located safe. BROCKPORT, N.Y. (WHEC) — A family is pleading for your help after their teen daughter disappeared.
Hannah McAvoy, 17, was last seen around 11:45 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 21, according to her mother.
Deputies believe McAvoy may still be in the area. Investigators are looking for leads but say she is considered an adult and ran off on her own.
McAvoy is about 5 feet 7 inches and 145 pounds. Her mother tells News10NBC that she recently dyed her hair darker brown and is most likely wearing a three-quarter length Michael Kors jacket.
The Sheriff's Office says so far, leads have come up short.
Anyone with information on McAvoy's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
