Monroe County celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with free community celebration

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Monroe County has a Hispanic Heritage month event planned for Friday, Sept. 24.
There will be a free Spanish-language screening of the Disney movie "Coco" and performances from the Rochester Latino Theatre Company and others.
The movie is planned for 5 p.m. at the Highland Bowl.
Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 as a way to promote the history, culture, and contributions of Hispanic-Americans.
