ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Monroe County Executive Adam Bello announced Friday he is in 10-day quarantine after coming in "close contact" with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.
Bello shared the news in a series of Tweets.
"Upon receiving notification, I consulted with Dr. Mendoza and began quarantine procedures pursuant to Monroe County Department of Public Health guidelines," Bello said.
Bello says he is not experiencing any symptoms and will continue to have a full work schedule from home until his quarantine period ends.
To be clear, he has not said he tested positive for the virus. He previously got his first COVID-19 shot on April 8.
