New York launches program to help small businesses with lease agreements

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Gov. Andrew Cuomo Thursday announced the launch of the New York Forward Small Business Lease Assistance Partnership.

It offers businesses informational resources and pro-bono assistance to help with lease agreements during the pandemic. 

Empire State Development is partnering with the New York State Bar Association and Start Small Think Big for the program.

The service is open to all small businesses and landlords in New York State.

Once the form is completed, you should receive an email with more information about the estimated timeline for your match with a volunteer attorney. Once you're matched, the attorney should email you to schedule an appointment.
