Evans' campaign team provided the following statement:
"This latest polling indicates that Malik's focus on economic empowerment and restoring trust and transparency is resonating with the people of Rochester. However, our campaign knows that there's only one poll that matters, and that's on June 22nd. Over these last 2 weeks, we will remain focused on bringing our message directly to voters and fighting for the Rochester we all deserve."
Warren's campaign manager issued this statement:
"Mayor Warren is focused on continuing to deliver results for the people of our City, not polls. No media poll has ever had the Mayor winning in any race. However, she's always won come Election Day. That's why she's focused on sharing her record and her plans to create more jobs, safer more vibrant neighborhoods and greater educational opportunities for every corner of Rochester."
