Night two of Jazz Fest headlined by Devon Allman Project

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) – The Devon Allman Project headlined night two of the Rochester International Jazz Festival on Saturday. It’s the first time Jazz Fest is back downtown in person since 2019.

The crosswalk over by the Eastman School of Music, commonly known as Composer’s Crossing, was painted to look like piano keys to mark the occasion.

"What’s gonna happen at the end of the day is we’re actually gonna make a section of these piano keys playable, so the section right here on Gibbs and Main, people will be able to dance along and play the piano keys later on this evening," artist Shawn Dunwoody said.

There are still many more days to check out Jazz Fest. Today’s events include a Juneteenth 5K run at Genesee Valley Park followed by a jazz concert at Baden Park. The 5K begins at 1 p.m. and the concert starts at 5:30 p.m.
