"We have a total of 40 riders coming in and out all across the United States,” Neil Mullkin, one of the riders said.

The group doesn’t just glide through different states. The mission is all about helping others.

"We may be doing repairs on a home, we may be assisting in the building of a home, we may be repairing a roof, we may be doing wall repairs, so it incorporates a variety of things. Whatever it takes to help families stay in their homes in order to assist either the underinsured or those who are in need,” Mullkin added.

Wayne Wilson, another rider, says this is his seventh ride with the group, The pit stop in Rochester is coming off of an 8 week ride so far.

“I like the build days, and I like what it does for the families we do it for, because we do a little work one day in our life and it changes a lot of things for many of them,” Wilson said.

Both Wilson and Mullkin say these rides aren’t just bucket list adventures.

"It’s the first family that I met, it’s that first individual who said hey you effected someone like me, and so as I go through and if a hill is hard or a challenge is hard I look at it and I say you know what, there are people counting on us,” Mullkin said.

Sunday night the group will rest, but Monday they’ll be riding off to Maine, with the continued mission of raising money and awareness for the fight against poverty.
