ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — One woman was taken into custody for driving under the influence after a crash in the City of Rochester that sent two to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Rochester Police Department says the crash took place shortly after 3 p.m. in the area of Central Park and Seventh Street. An investigation found that a 24-year-old city woman ran a stop sign in her Ford Fusion and hit the rear of a vehicle with a 33-year-old city woman and a 15-year-old girl inside of it. The vehicle, a Chevy Blazer, then struck a tree and overturned.
The two occupants of the Blazer were taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with minor injuries, while the Fusion driver was taken into custody under suspicion of driving under the influence. She had been uninjured in the crash.
None of those involved in the incident have been identified.
