Police identify man stabbed to death on Evergreen Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) —Rochester Police have indenitifed a man stabbed to death Sunday night.

Police say 24 year-old Jahlil Greer was stabbed on Evergreen Street around 5:15 p.m.

RPD Captain Craig Bello told News10NBC officers arrived on scene around 5:15 p.m. after reports of a fight. Upon arrival, w they discovered Greer had been stabbed in his "upper body." He was brought to the University of Rochester Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. 

Another man. a city resident in his 40s, was also injured. He was dropped off at RGH where he has non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say that both of them are believed to have been stabbed during the same fight and that it was not a random act of violence.
