ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) —The ROC the Day results are in!
More than $1 million was raised this year to help local non-profits for the 10th- annual event, something local non-profits desperately needed during the pandemic.
ROC the Day is what we call Giving Tuesday around the nine-county Greater Rochester area. The 24-hour event is powered by The United Way of Greater Rochester.
According to organizers, the amount raised this year is about $285,000 more than what was raised last year, as more than 10,000 individual donations were made during the event.
These were a list of causes people could donate to.
