ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A cool new addition rolled into School 29 Friday.

The non-profit Endless Highway has been working with the Rochester City School District to bring inclusive basketball to the school.

Friday there was a surprise wheelchair donation for students with disabilities.

They’ve been donated in honor of Principal Joseph Baldino, who’s put his heart and soul into accessibility for all his students.

"I’m deeply touched," Baldino said. "Since I became principal here 6 years ago my goal has been to try to make sure that our students with and without disabilities can interact on a daily basis."

And they weren’t just any wheelchairs. They’re built for sport.

Students with and without disabilities are able to play on these new sets of wheels.
