ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester City School District is helping parents better understand the ways their kids are learning this year.
On Saturday, the RCSD held its annual Family Engagement Day virtually to discuss different learning platforms that are being used across the district, like SeeSaw and Google.
Superintendent Lesli Myers-Small educated parents on virtual classrooms and discussed how attendance is taken in the district's remote learning environment. She also went over supplies and toolkits that are available for students.
School leaders also updated parents on the district's health and safety plan to return students to in-person learning in January, as we've reported, some students will special needs will be able to return.
