ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A business on Brown Street is a total loss after a fire investigators have deemed suspicious tore through it Tuesday night.
It started around 9 p.m., and when firefighters got to the Bronx Market, the building was already heavily involved.
Firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control and prevent it from spreading to neighboring buildings.
The store was unoccupied, and the fire caused extensive damage to half the building.
Investigators believe the fire started inside.
The cause is under investigation by the Rochester Fire Department's Arson Investigation Unit.
