ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Rochester Housing Authority and Trillium Health Thursday partnered to offer free COVID-19 vaccinations as part of Trillium's mobile access clinic.
Qualifying residents of the Hudson Ridge Tower received their second and final dose.
"We're really proud of the partnership with Rochester Housing Authority to bring vaccines to the most vulnerable populations," Vice President of Pharmacy Mark Malahosky said. "Sometimes it's difficult for folks to get to the vaccine, so we need to bring the vaccine to them."
Monroe County announced Thursday it's further expanding vaccine access into Rochester neighborhoods.
Starting next Thursday, April 8, clinics are coming to all four quadrants of the City of Rochester on a recurring basis.
