ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — The Frederick Douglass-Greater Rochester International Airport is getting some federal funding.
The Department of Transportation has awarded the airport $2.4 million.
A portion of that is CARES Act funding.
Money was also awarded to two other airports in New York.
U.S. Senators say between the three, funding will be used for runway lighting, paving and a wildlife perimeter.
