Rochester is most sleep-stressed city in the world, study finds

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester was crowned the “world’s worst city for getting a good night’s sleep” according to a new study.

The sleep experts at Mornings.co.uk found Rochesterians’ tweets exhibit an extremely high stress rate of 55.21%, making the Flower City the most sleep-stressed city in the world.

The study analyzed stress levels in sleep-related tweets in cities across the world.

Rochester beat out Liverpool, UK at 53.92%, Manchester, UK at 51.21%, Oklahoma City at 51.21%, Perth, Australia at 51.09%, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at 50.52%, Nottingham, UK at 50.38%, Tulsa, OK at 49.59%, Seattle, WA at 49.49% and Leeds, UK at 49.22%.
