Rochester man arrested after shooting on South Goodman Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police announced an arrest in a shooting that happened on South Goodman Street earlier this month.

A Rochester man was shot in the leg on July 13. He was taken to URMC by AMR.


On Thursday, members of RPD’s Tactical Unit arrested Jimmie Johnson Jr., 29, of Rochester.

He was charged with second-degree assault and second and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

RPD says Johnson is a parolee.

He was booked into the county jail and later arraigned in Rochester City Court.
