Rochester man facing gun, drug charges after traffic stop

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester man is facing gun and drug charges after a traffic stop.

Police say officers and Monroe County Sheriff's Deputies were out doing proactive patrols Tuesday night.


Just before 1 a.m., they pulled over Chynea Dillard-Deas, 20, on Lyell Avenue, near Broad Street. Investigators say he had an illegal handgun, crack cocaine and fentanyl.

He's scheduled to be arraigned in city court this morning.
