RPD: 20-year-old man shot on South Union Street

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Rochester Police are investigating after a 20-year-old man was shot on South Union Street early Sunday morning.

Rochester Police responded around 2 a.m. to the area of East Avenue and Alexander Street when they heard gunshots.

Officers found a 20-year-old man that was shot at least once in the lower body on South Union Street.

The man was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital and is expected to survive.
