ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) - Three people are injured after two separate shootings on Rochester's west side Saturday night.
The first incident happened just prior to midnight on the 300 block of West Main Street.
Police say a 25-year-old Rochester man arrived at a local hospital by a private vehicle suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The man was treated and is expected to survive.
As the investigation was being conducted, officers heard gunshots in the area of the 500 block of West Main Street.
Officers responded to that area and found a 25-year-old Rochester man on Genesee Street who was suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The man was transported by ambulance to a local hospital and is expected to survive.
As this was occurring, police were notified that a 35-year-old Rochester man arrived at a local hospital by a private vehicle with at least one gunshot wound. The man was treated and is also expected to survive.
Police say the preliminary investigation revealed that both victims sustained their gunshot wounds in the 500 block of West Main Street.
Both areas of West Main Street were closed off during the investigation but have since reopened.
There are no suspects in custody at this time. Anyone with information is asked to please call 911.
