ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — Last week, Rochester City Council passed a resolution urging the city administration to take disciplinary action against the officers involved in the death of Daniel Prude after he was arrested last year.

Chief Cynthia Herriott-Sullivan responded in a letter, saying the internal investigation should be completed and any departmental charges filed by April.

The chief also said she has an investigative update scheduled this week with the Professional Standards Section.
