ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A parolee was arrested for the robbery of a Summit Federal Credit Union that happened two weeks ago.
Rochester Police say they arrested 40-year-old Duane McDaniel on Sunday, and he was driving a stolen vehicle. He was charged with third degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle Sunday then third degree robbery on Monday for the robbery at the Main Street location back on Nov. 17.
Police say McDaniel has more than 14 criminal convictions and is currently on parole for a prior robbery conviction.
He was arraigned Tuesday.
Right now, four other recent bank or credit union robberies in Rochester are still under investigation.
