Sheriff deputy involved in motor vehicle accident while responding to call for service

PITTSFORD, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Monroe County Sheriffs Deputy was involved in a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident on Kreag Road while responding to a call for service Sunday evening.
Authorities say the deputy rear-ended a tractor-trailer w which was slowing down in traffic as it approached an overpass. The deputy was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for evaluation.
The driver of the tractor was not injured.
No citations were issued.
